About Ken Avenue

Hello, reader! Welcome to Ken Avenue, where everything goes one way… MY WAY!

I’m Ken Ignacio from the Philippines, a jack-of-all-trades, but a master of nothing.

And that is exactly why I started this personal blog. I wanted a venue where I can write about my adventures and struggles in finding my true purpose in life. I’m going through what they call a “quarter-life crisis.” I’m underemployed, overweight, single for 5 years, and living with my parents. Yes, I’m f*cked.

It’s really not my goal to gain a lot of readers. I’m just looking for a place where I can say whatever I want other than social media networks. There’s nothing I hate more than people airing out their dirty laundry on Facebook. At least, here on my personal blog, people are deliberately coming to read whatever the hell I’m writing.

Kenneth Ignacio Before and After

2008 (Left) | 2015 (Right)

I used to have a banging, hot body 7 years ago, but sadly, age got the best of me. If you read my previous posts, you’ll know that I’ve been writing about my silly quest into bringing my 2008 body back. Seven years in, I’m even heavier than ever, but I’m quite positive that I’ll succeed this time. (I don’t know how many times I’ve already said that! Haha!)

On a lighter note, I co-author a food blog with my sister, Mhel Ignacio. Together, we share our latest food discoveries and experiences on CertifiedFoodies.com. I don’t mean to brag, but it’s one of the top food blogs in the Philippines. We’ve been working on it for more than 5 years now, and we’re so happy with the success it has achieved. We’ve been invited to contribute for several food magazines, and we’ve also appeared on a number of local TV shows.

Let’s connect! Hit me up at these following social media networks:
